What Is Fostering?
Fostering means temporarily caring for a rescue animal in your home while they recover from illness, injury, or trauma. You provide a safe, calm environment and daily care while we cover all veterinary costs, feed, and supplies. Fostering frees up space at our facility so we can rescue more animals in need.

Animals heal faster in a quiet home setting. Your property gives them space to decompress and rebuild confidence at their own pace.
Full Support
We provide feed, veterinary care, farrier visits, and 24/7 guidance. You provide the love, space, and daily attention.
Foster Requirements
Appropriate Shelter & Fencing
A safe, enclosed area with adequate shelter from weather. Fencing must be in good repair and appropriate for the species being fostered.
Time & Availability
Ability to provide daily feeding, watering, and monitoring. Willingness to administer medications if needed and report on the animal's progress.
Property Within Driving Distance
Located within reasonable distance of Kearney, Nebraska for veterinary visits, check-ins, and supply delivery.
Willingness to Learn
No prior experience required. We provide full training on the specific animal's needs, care routine, and any medical protocols.

Foster & Support
Care for your foster animal with our full support. We handle all vet bills, provide supplies, and check in regularly. Some fosters last weeks, others months.
